2007 Sprinter Camper Van – 136,000km - rare Looking for a reliable camper van that’s ready right now for summer? This 2007 Sprinter has been converted into a functional camper – perfect for road trips and weekends away. I’ve owned the van now for 4 years, and in that time, I have converted it to suit my needs. With a high bed, space to cook, good storage, and space for my mountain bike in the ‘garage’ under the bed, at the back. I love it, but with living and working in the city, I need something a bit smaller. The specifics: Insulation - 20mm Kingspan insulation on the floor. The walls and ceiling are insulated with 50mm Kingspan board. There is a sealed vapor barrier throughout. It works well even in winter. Electric - The 110ah leisure battery charges through an inverter off the van's generator while driving. There are spotlights in the back, along with USB-A charging ports beside the bed. Heating - A 5 kW (kilowatt) diesel heater is installed. It brings the van up to temperature in minutes. There is also a controller beside the bed. The system temperature regulating, so it will keep the van at your chosen temp overnight, for example, so no freezing-cold mornings. It also runs off a separate diesel tank. Ventilation - A tinted 2-way extractor fan is installed. Similar to a Maxi-fan. It has 10 speed levels, a rain sensor to stop water getting in, along with a remote. Interior - Double rotating front bench seat. Floors are click vinyl, and the walls are clad with pine tongue and groove. The bed runs lengthways with a section that folds down into the back of the bench seat. Bodywork - Like all Sprinters, the van does have some rust. It has been touched up here and there. The sliding door could do with being changed, but it is still functional, and it was never an issue for me. Mechanical - The van is in great mechanical condition.
