Camper Bed

Bought this sofa-bed in May 2025. Retro fit it to fit my VW Transporter SWB (it will fit any van that size and above. I was able to fit my potable toilet between it and back door. I took off feet and made a solid plywood base (right now it has wooden stretchers to hold everything square, I would remove these when fixing into van permanently) , it slides forward on 4 heavy duty drawer slides. The seat back has a factory fitted locking mechanism, pull seat back forward, hear click and lay flat. I took 10cm off the depth in the back so it fits tight against the wall. I put it back together stronger (screws over staples) than it was made and reattached fabric perfctly, looks like it came from the factory like this! I made two supports to go on top of the base when in bed mode. It works better with just one and fits behind when in couch mode. If you put 4 way strech carpet on the base it would look great.
