Description

2008 high roof MWB Transit. 2.4L 6 speed, very fast van. Have had her a year and a half, I've converted her to the point of being fully functional for a week away. Just haven't gotten around to applying the finishing touches, and she started giving some issues recently that I don't have the time/money to put into anymore. Have had great times in the van all over the country, and would love to sell her to someone with the time and money to get her over the line. Pros; Starts first time every time, no lights on dash. Full service history. Full big bed, I'm 6"3 and sleep comfortably. Comfy firm cushions cut to form mattress. 2 hob stovetop built into a cabinet. Big sink built into another cabinet. Tonnes of storage under the bed and above the cab. Bench seat which is hollow for storage. A table which doubles up as a bed extension. 2 port USB charger. Fridge that I've been running off the cig lighter in the cab, very economical. Diesel heater new in box. Everything you need to wire in a 12v system except a leisure battery. More usb ports, reading lamps, switch board, dimmer switches. Skylight installed with insect mesh and black out blind. A few USB charging lamps. Full roll of Diall insulation. Camping gas stove. Some frying pans etc. I have a ton of pine tongue and groove cladding (same as on bench seat in photo) that I can give with the van if that's your style, I have more than enough to clad the interior, which was my plan. Have a significant amount of ply and other timber to go too. Cons; Sitting since May, still starts first time. New issue with gear box, won't go into 1st gear. Can pull off easy in 2nd though. CVRT is out, haven't attempted test. Front passenger door external handle won't work, easy fix though. Rear sliding door works fine but there's a knack to it. Seemingly one small oil leak. As with any old Transit - there is some rust. Mostly surface level underneath, I did a full rust treatment to the body last year.
