WANTED: Family Caravan (Lightweight, Kid‑Friendly Layout) 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒We’re a family of four based near Macroom in Cork looking to buy our first touring caravan to enjoy weekends away with our kids. ✅ What we’re ideally looking for: ✔️Family‑friendly layout Rear dinette that converts to bunks, or fixed bunks (see example photos attached) ✔️A sliding/pull‑out partition to separate the kids’ sleeping area would be a big plus ✔️Berths: 4/5 (practical layout more important than numbers) Weight: ✔️MTPLM ideally 1300–1400kg max Towing with a PHEV Mitsubishi Outlander on a B licence, so lighter is essential ✔️Condition: Dry, solid, and well cared for No major damp or water ingress issues Everything working (heating, fridge on gas/electric, cooker, etc.) ✔️Year: Flexible (approx. mid‑2000s onwards) ✔️Brands we’re interested in: Bailey (Ranger / similar), Swift, Ace, Abbey, Sprite, or comparable ✔️Budget: Around €3,500 to 5,500 (some flexibility for the right caravan and equally will consider lower budget too) We’re genuine buyers, easy to deal with, and happy to travel within reason for the right fit. Thanks so much 😊 Aoife (EDIT: I realised after I posted this advert that I have an anonymous 1 star review. I can only imagine or at least hope it must have been an error. Normally anything I have listed were children’s items like buggies/car seats/toy bundles etc giving items away for free.
