Buying a Vehicle

At Abbey Caravans we have been serving the needs of caravanners and motorhomers since 1989. Since then we have had many satisfied customers, many of whom have become repeat customers over the years and as always we’ve welcomed many new customers too, but in particular in the last five years. We have become one of the leading dealers selling and buying motorhomes in Northern Ireland, and as before, we continue selling and buying touring caravans. Unlike many other dealers we will part exchange caravans against motorhomes and motorhomes against caravans, in fact we will also consider cars or motorcycles against either.

First motorhome purchase for us and I  cannot recommend Philip at Abbey Caravans highly enough.  Philip made our decision very easy as he knew his stuff inside and out, answered all our questions (and there was a lot) and took time to explain everything to us in detail.  Definitely worth a visit to see them if you are considering purchasing!

We recently went to view a caravan (Bailey Pursuit) and were greeted by Gareth who was more than helpful and was in no way the pushy salesman that you get in some places. This was a refreshing experience that put us at ease. After a short discussion we decided to purchase the caravan and left a deposit. When we returned to collect the caravan we again were greeted on our arrival by name which was a great touch. We were given a very comprehensive hand over of how to setup and how things worked. The whole experience was so relaxing especially as this was our first caravan and I would recommend Abbey Caravan & Leisure. We have now undertaken our first trip and are hooked. Hopefully see Gareth out and about too.

I had a problem with a Thetford fridge ( Rollerteam T Line 740)  and after exhausting forums and FB advice I contacted local dealers for assistance .
Abbey Caravans not only went above and beyond in their efforts to help , but were communicative and proactive . Replacement fridge sourced and installed before the booked date .

I cannot rate the service I got from Abbey Caravans and Leiure highly enough  and will be back for whatever work the motorhome needs .

To give some context the response I got from the largest MH dealer in NI was the polar opposite of what Abbey Caravans & Leisure offered. Once the large MH dealer found out I hadnt purchased the MH direct  from them their avaialble service dates increased by 3 months .

Abbey Caravans and Leisure have also provided a solution to installing a smart TV and sourced a suitable bracket from another brand of motorhome.
The team at Abbey Caravans & Leisure are tremendous and the service they provided was excellent .
