This r hand knotted rug is old so the wear is commensurate with its age. It is still very beautiful. Please note that the colour is uniform despite its wear. The photo shows a shadow by the sofa because it is just in front of a window. This is not a dark patch in the rug. Dimensions are 269 x 184
