For sale: 2015 Mazda 3 Platinum 2.2 Diesel. Super long NCT valid until October 2027. My Mazda is in brilliant mechanical order and drives absolutely like new – very quiet, smooth, and powerful. Over the summer, a whistling noise from the turbo turned out to be the common issue with a snapped rivet on the internal wastegate flap. Instead of a cheap patch-up, I bought and fitted a complete turbocharger, professionally remanufactured by a highly reputable Swedish company (with 2 brand new cores and an upgraded, heavy-duty flap mount that permanently fixes this factory defect). Since the engine had to be opened for the turbo anyway, I decided to overhaul other vital components at the same time. In a 10-year-old diesel, items like the timing chain and exhaust camshaft have a limited lifespan and their wear is completely normal. Even though my Mazda could have properly run for further kilometers without touching them, I chose to replace the timing chain kit, exhaust camshaft, and injector washers preemptively. I simply wanted to do it all in one go to save on future labor costs and guarantee long, trouble-free operation without returning to this issue later. It also got fresh oil, all filters, plus new brake discs and pads all around. I have full photo proof of the work and parts receipts. Clutch, dual-mass flywheel, and oil pressure are perfect. Diagnostics are 100% clean. Top Platinum spec: leather heated seats, Bose sound, Head-Up display, bi-xenons, parking sensors, keyless, and 2026 sat-nav. Tax €190/year. Non-smoker.
