Buying a used car is always a challenge so warranty is very important. I bought a nice automatic VW Touran detailed and shined. After a week the Gearbox sounded strange noise. I contacted ALCAN and they inmediately sent me to a garage of my choosing. Replacing the clutch/flywheel went to almost 2000 euros. Not only repaired was done and paid for, but, more important, Alan have previously sent into my bank 50% of repair quoted charges. I tried to return the 850 euros and to my surprise, Alan graciously asked me to keep it for the inconvenience. My car is in perfect condition and I recommend this shop to anyone.

I had a great experience buying my VW Beetle at Alcan. Kevin was a gent, he showed me around the car and answered all of my questions. There was no hard sell and I felt they were honest and professional from the start. The ownership transfer process was very quick and easy, communication was great. I had a spark plug issue after a month and Alan sent their mechanic Noel around the next morning who diagnosed the car and fixed it the same day at no charge because it was under warranty. He was lovely and informative. Just all round great service from a great team. It can be daunting buying a secondhand car but I would definitely recommend Alcan to my friends and family!
