1974 Red Triumph Stag 3.0 Convertible 2dr petrol

This fine example was purchased originally by Harland and Wolff for use by its then Chairman, who used it in his leisure time away from the company when not being chauffeured around! The car was then sold in 76/77(?) and lightly used before being bought by the present owner in 1986! The car has remained with the third owner ever since. It was used sparingly as the owner spent much time employed abroad in the construction industry, which explains the low mileage of approximately 78k. The engine was replaced in 2003 by Rimmer Brothers, the well-known Stag specialists. This new engine has just over 7000 miles recorded. The car was also re-unholstered throughout in 2004. Receipts held for both. Inertia Reel seatbelts fitted to replace original static ones (NB Front only). The car has a 4-speed manual/overdrive gearbox, and Luminition ignition. The hardtop and soft-top are both original. No MOT required because this is an Historic Vehicle, and road tax is nil. NCT expiry date is only input because the advert would not list without it - the car does not require one in NI.
