Unlike a lot of AE86’s with carb conversions this one runs perfectly and pulls well through the rev range with no flat spots sounding amazing in the process. It was a road car in Japan and had current Shaken (Japanese NCT) at the time of export, it drives exceptionally well, in fact I can’t emphasise how much fun it is especially compared to some more track focused cars which are brilliant on a circuit but don’t work on the road. The shell and overall condition is pretty good, it is getting on for 40 years old so does need a tlc in a few spots but nothing sinister and its structurally very solid in all the usual spots (yes the pockets are mint!). If you’re after a shed queen this probably won’t be the car but if you want a very cool JDM 86 with loads of rare parts and some proper presence then it won’t disappoint.
