Firstly, this is a genuinely low-mileage example, its verified 66,000 miles representing an average of just 2,000 a year throughout its life. And secondly, the previous owner has spent a frankly eye-watering amount of money getting it all absolutely tip-top; he estimates that he’s spent around £15,000 on the car, with no stone left unturned in this no-expense-spared endeavour. All work carried out and servicing works have been impressively documented. The car has had a full repaint in its original colour, beautifully ceramic-coated; the wheels were refurbished, a new headlining fitted, obscure trim parts tracked down… it’s been a project bordering on obsession, and the finished product really is remarkable both to look at and to drive. The new owner will also be pleased to know that the car has been photographed and has featured in a BMW Car magazine which is now available to purchase.
