2007 Ford S-Max 7-seater (Dropped valve)

We’ve had this car less than 2 years as a second family car and it passed its NCT without any fault. I’ve clocked up very little since taking ownership of it (approx.15,000km in 18 months). It had 1 previous owner from new and a substantial service history. The car is in reasonably good condition for an 18 Y/O MPV. I’ve gone for the cheap ad so more photos and or videos available if required. In the last few weeks the car has developed a rattle which I have been informed is more than likely come from after “dropping a valve” as they say. It’s been parked up (6 weeks) since the fault occurred with the exception of a trip to the garage for diagnosis. Car is still running but has that noticeable rattle related to the rpm of the engine. Tax was due when the car developed the fault so is now out of tax. It’s going to an auto dismantlers unless there’s someone willing to make a reasonable offer as I’d say it’s not ready for the scrap heap just yet.
