2008 BMW 2.0 Diesel M Sport Touring Automatic

A beautiful example of the BMW E91 Touring, finished in the stunning Mondello Blue Metallic with a rare and elegant Cream Leather Interior. This is a genuine 2-owner car – I bought it from my uncle (who originally brought it in as a full-spec UK import), so it has been in the family for much of its life. With 153,000 miles (approx. 246,000 km), this car has been well cared for and has been fully serviced by a BMW specialist. It is a fantastic car to drive, especially on the open road, where the comfort, handling and effortless automatic gearbox really shine. Features: • M Sport specification • 2.0 litre diesel engine • Smooth automatic transmission • Heated front seats • Factory tinted rear windows • BMW ambient mood lighting, including illuminated door handle lights • Split-opening rear tailgate/boot – a very practical Touring feature Recent work carried out: • New alternator • Rear right upper shock mount replaced • Extensive fuel system work completed during fault diagnosis, including replacement of components through to the fuel pump Honest description: As with any 18 year old BMW, there are some areas that need attention. The front bumper has some lacquer peel, mainly due to the car spending periods parked up. The engine has an intermittent hunting/uneven idle issue. My mechanic has spent considerable time diagnosing this and has replaced much of the fuel system through to the fuel pump. Interestingly, once the check engine light comes on, the engine runs perfectly smoothly. This may be something straightforward for someone familiar with BMW diagnostics, but I have decided not to pursue it further. Despite this intermittent issue, the car drives beautifully. The automatic gearbox is smooth, the interior is in lovely condition, and this remains a very enjoyable and practical BMW Touring. A rare colour combination that is becoming increasingly difficult to find. A great opportunity for someone who appreciates these cars and is willing to give it attention.
