2008 BMW 318i E90 - Low Mileage, Spotless Car

BMW 318i E90 Automatic – Only 114,000 km – Leather Interior – Excellent Condition For sale is my BMW 318i E90 saloon, finished to a very high standard and in excellent condition for its age. With just 114,000 km, this is a very low-mileage example of the popular BMW 3 Series. The car is exceptionally clean inside and out, with a spotless leather interior and automatic transmission. It has clearly been well looked after and presents extremely well for a 2008 vehicle. Engine issue and troubleshooting carried out The car has an intermittent rough idle/misfire, primarily affecting cylinder 3. It runs smoothly on short drives but develops rough running when warm, particularly after long drives. A considerable amount of troubleshooting and maintenance has already been carried out: Ignition coil packs and spark plugs replaced. Compression test carried out with good results, indicating no obvious compression issue. All four fuel injectors are Index 11, the later revision of the BMW piezo injectors. Replaced leaking fuel injector on C3 replaced with another genuine Index 11 injector. Engine cylinders inspected internally using a borescope, with no obvious damage identified during the visual inspection. I'm not a mechanic, but I've spent a lot of time researching and troubleshooting the issue myself. I've run out of ideas and suspect its going to come down to something silly like wiring etc. The car really needs someone with mechanical experience, ideally familiar with BMW's N43 engine, to properly trace the fault and get to the bottom of it. Selling as-is, with the engine issue fully disclosed. Priced accordingly.
