2012 BMW 520d SE Manual, Timing Chain Done, NCT 27

Selling my 2012 BMW 520d SE as I've recently upgraded to a newer BMW 5 Series. I've owned this car for 7 years and it has been an exceptional car. The vast majority of my driving has been motorway driving. I changed the oil every 14,000km and had the car serviced by a local BMW mechanic. Anyone who views and drives the car will appreciate how well it has been looked after. Two original BMW keys Cheap road tax - €200 Timing chain replaced (receipt available - replaced by main dealer at 260,000) BMW recall work completed 6-speed manual NCT until February 2027 Heated black leather seats Front and rear parking sensors Cruise control Bluetooth audio Some service receipts available from my ownership Drives exceptionally well Automatic Headlights & Rain Sensors Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) All 4 Power Windows Few Age related marks Mechanically Perfect. Note: The iDrive Condition Based Service display has a software fault and incorrectly states that the car has been overdue a service since the year 2000 (before the car was even built). It is a display fault only and does not reflect the servicing the car has received. The car originally had a BMW service history from its time in the UK, with servicing carried out in Ireland since. The previous owner serviced it at Keary's BMW in Cork. BMW issued a Service Information bulletin (SI 62 06 13) specifically addressing this: “Condition Based Service Due Date Is Reset to 01/2000.” It lists the F10 (and F10 Hybrid) among affected models. The root cause is a software error in the instrument cluster that corrupts or defaults the time-based CBS data to the year 2000.
