Toyota Prius 2012 – 7 Seater Hybrid – Extremely Cheap to Run Selling my Toyota Prius 2012 hybrid (automatic). Absolutely brilliant car, but I’m changing because I need to tow a trailer with the motorbike and hybrids can’t have tow hitches fitted. This car is extremely cheap to run: • Very low petrol consumption • Cheap motor tax • Very reliable • Ideal for stop-start city driving It’s perfect for city use, commuting or anyone who wants to keep running costs as low as possible. ⸻ Details • 7 seats with loads of space • Automatic so very easy and stress-free to drive • Hybrid, smooth and quiet • Ideal for learners or anyone who doesn’t want to drive a manual (and realistically most cars are going electric and so are automatic anyway) ⸻ Extras • TV built into the roof for the back seats, great for kids on longer journeys • Radio is in Japanese so currently turned off • Can be easily changed to an Android Auto or Apple CarPlay system ⸻ History & Condition • Bought from Kearys Motors in Cork • Receipt available showing €12,000 paid on 22/02/2023 • Selling for €8,500 ono • Always passes NCTs never had a fail and just passed for another year in Little Island Cork. ⸻ Why I got this car: • One of the cheapest cars to own for fuel and tax - excellent with current fuel prices gone mad • Excellent in traffic and city driving - loads of taxi people drive them because of this. It stays electric in city speeds and stops and starts itself in lights etc saving power and even uses the brakes to charge its batteries so no wasted energy. No need to plug in as it charges from petrol and so uses very little. • Loads of space without being bulky - 7 seater!! It’s amazing how big it actually is inside but doesn’t look it. • Automatic and hybrid makes it very easy to drive - you just turn it on by a button and drive. So easy. Why I am selling: • Hybrid cars are designed to be efficient as possible so cannot take a tow bar and I need one for my motorbikes as I take my motorbikes on trips up North and currently need to use my van to do it. So I need a car that can take a tow bar as it’s too expensive to take my diesel van around now. ⸻ 📍 Located in Blarney, Cork - but in Dublin a lot including this weekend.
