2013 Mercedes S350 BlueTEC LWB – High Spec – Needs

2013 Mercedes-Benz S350 BlueTEC Long Wheelbase (LWB) – exceptionally high-specification car. I've owned this car for approximately four years and it is an incredibly comfortable and luxurious car to drive. I'm selling it because it now requires mechanical work and, given the mileage, I've made the decision not to continue investing in it. Very high specification including: • Night Vision Assist • DISTRONIC adaptive cruise control • Lane assist • Front massage seats • Heated and ventilated/cooled front seats • Electric memory front seats with easy-entry function • Electrically reclining rear seats • Heated rear seats • Electric rear privacy blind • CD/DVD entertainment • Huge rear legroom being the LWB model • Extensive S-Class luxury specification throughout The car is running and driving and is approaching 300,000 km. Mechanical condition I want to be completely upfront about the reason for the sale. The car currently has an engine-management/control-unit fault which can cause significant intermittent loss of power. It can subsequently return to normal power, but the underlying issue requires diagnosis/repair. The DPF was removed and the DPF/AdBlue system mapped out before I bought the car. This has recently been confirmed by a Mercedes specialist. I had considered returning the emissions system to standard and have actually located the correct genuine Mercedes DPF, but I've decided not to invest further given the mileage and other work required. There is also a whirring/noise from the steering system which requires attention. The turbo has previously been reconditioned and various other maintenance and repair work has been carried out during my ownership. The car passed its previous NCT in January 2025 at approximately 230,500 km. Bodywork is generally good for its age and mileage, although there are some scratches/cosmetic marks to the bumpers.
