2015 Kia Carens

Very dependable and practical 2015 Kia Carens 1.7 diesel, 7 seater, with 234,000 km. This has been our family car and has been very reliable. It is a genuine 7 seater that still drives like a normal car rather than a large van or MPV. The second row has three individual full-size seats, which makes a big difference for families and gives passengers plenty of foot space with no transmission hump. It has just passed a brand-new NCT, valid until July 2027, and I recently had my mechanic go through the car and replace anything that was likely to need attention. Recent work includes: • New 3-piece clutch and flywheel • Gearbox oil changed • New rear brake drums • New brake pads • New drivers-side brake caliper • New drivers-side drop link • Full service • Fresh NCT until July 2027 The expensive clutch and flywheel job is already taken care of, along with a lot of the normal wear-and-tear items you would expect at this mileage. 1.7 CRDi diesel engine is economical and well suited to longer journeys. The car has always been dependable and is still in regular use, so mileage may rise slightly. Seven seats, with the rear two folding flat when not required to give a very useful boot. The three separate middle seats also slide/fold individually, making it very practical for children, passengers or carrying larger items. Selling only because I am considering moving to a larger vehicle with greater towing capacity.
