2015 Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 Diesel –Repair/Project Car

2015 Peugeot 308 SW 1.6 HDi diesel for sale. Comfortable, practical estate with excellent fuel economy and plenty of space. Features include: Satellite navigation Reversing camera Rear parking sensors Large estate boot The car was serviced in February 2025 and had the rear brakes, one front spring and a ball joint replaced. Unfortunately, following the service there was an issue with the coolant system and the car subsequently overheated. The exact fault has not been fully diagnosed, but a head gasket issue is strongly suspected. It is therefore being sold as-is and in need of mechanical repair/investigation. The car has been sitting unused for approximately a year and has just had a brand-new battery fitted. I had intended to repair or replace it and was offered around €5,000 as a trade-in in March as part of a PCP deal. However, due to being evicted from my rented accommodation and then needing to qualify for a mortgage, I was unable to complete the PCP purchase. I am now completing the purchase of a new home, so I have reluctantly decided to sell the car rather than spend money repairing it. €3,500 ONO – open to sensible offers.
