Audi 80 1988

1988 Audi 80 se 1.8 petrol 8V Manual 5 speed box Galvanised body Used a daily driver up until start of this year Electric windows all round Digital radio fitted with Bluetooth connection for phone Manual Sunroof (no leaks) Manual choke MOT expired on 21st Feb 2025. Parts needed for advisory on last MOT come with the car. Very genuine car. Interior needs some work, headlining needs either renewed or re-glued, I currently have it pinned up with tacks and the sponge layer has disintegrated. Same goes for sunroof lining and some other areas of the interior. Seats are in perfect condition and so are the seat belts. All other parts of the inside of the car are in great condition for its age. Exterior bodywork polishes up well but has sun cracks all over the bonnet, the car obviously sat in the sun for a lot of its life. Could do with a good detail all over. The plastic trim on the car has faded but isn’t really surprising for its age either. Car runs perfectly and is very comfortable. Probably cheap to clear to southern registration because of its age. I haven’t enquired about that but I can if the buyer would rather know before purchase. Although it says it was 3 owners, it’s only actually 2. It was owned by a man who bought it from new and he gave it to his son and then he sold it to me. The son didn’t drive the car. Hence why the mileage is low. The odometer isn’t working properly but the car has never been ‘clocked’ or tampered with in any way. The car has always been maintained by ourselves personally! The carb flange was done and the carb was cleaned and tuned. The back wheel bearings were done and the engine mounts were replaced as well as the oil and filters being done! I’m reluctant to sell this car as it has served me very well and it’s a very straight car. So please no time wasters.
