Audi A3 2005

2005 Audi A3 1.6 Petrol – Well Maintained €900 Selling my 2005 Audi A3 1.6 petrol, which I have owned for the past 5 years. The car has been well maintained throughout my ownership and is running and driving well. The car recently failed the NCT on emissions only. The retest readings were: - Low idle CO: 0.42% - High idle CO: 0.35% - Everything else on the NCT was perfect. It is very possible that the car may need a catalytic converter to resolve the emissions issue. A replacement catalytic converter can be bought for roughly €150–€250, depending on the part/brand. I have recently bought another car and don't want to put any more money into this one, so I'm selling it as it is. Despite the NCT emissions issue, the car is in very good condition for its age and drives well. Recent maintenance/replacements: - Brand new battery - Brand new alternator - Brand new cooling radiator - Rocker cover gasket replaced recently - Throttle body recently cleaned and adaptation carried out - Timing belt replaced at 143,000 km I'm being completely upfront about the NCT failure and the possible catalytic converter issue. This could suit someone who is mechanically minded and wants a good, well-maintained A3 at a reasonable price.
