Audi A4 2008 ( suspected engine failure )

Since it was nct-d, this car was put down and rarely started. 2 weeks ago, it got new oil, filters, gearbox oil then went back to the parking space ( we have 4 other cars in the family ). There is 2 brand new tires on the front too. Tax was paid in full when nct-d. ( it costed 280 euro ). on the 20th, was going to Dublin ( from Galway ). car stopped in traffic and now wont even give sign of life. Mechanic on the corner said not worth looking inside the engine for him to inspect it further. He suspects whole engine gone, without knowing as it would cost me couple of hundred in labor just to find the issue. Car does not start, no life at all. Inspection welcome but 99% need to be trailered away. wheels are back with stock wheels. Car passed nct with 0 faults ( paper is there too ) and never gave any sing or shaking problems.
