I bought a van off Jonathan in August, buying process was smooth and I got a great trade in price. they provided a 3 month engine and gearbox warranty which was honored in my case with a glowplug issue. They also helped out with some out of warranty repairs. Overall good experiences with Jonathan and Brian, very reasonable.

I bought a car a car off Jonathan O'Brian car sales back in April. Now I seen the car on donedeal but was receiving radiation treatment at the time so I couldn't view the car. I made contact with the garage asked a few questions got a video of the car and got it dropped to my house. The cars a 2009 so its old. Bar a few wear and tear things for it's age the car is in great condition. I took a real gamble buying off them and im glad I did. It all worked out in the end. I love the car. I paid a deposit for the car we agreed on a day and he texted me the on the day a time to expect it. Serviced and all. Im very happy with it 5 months later.

If I could give a negative rating, I would. I purchased a 2020 Vauxhall Insignia from this dealership in July 2024. The buying process was smooth, and the car seemed fine initially. Unfortunately, within a year, I experienced serious mechanical issues that led to significant repair costs and time without a car. When I contacted the dealer for advice, I didn’t receive the level of support I had hoped for. While the car is now back on the road, further problems have arisen, which has been very disappointing. In hindsight, I would suggest anyone buying any used car to check the service history carefully and consider an independent inspection before purchase. 08/01/2026 update on the Dealership reply to my review - Thank you for sharing these recommendations; we agree that timely servicing and addressing warning lights are essential for vehicle safety. However, we would like to clarify that in this case, the implication that the car was driven while ignoring a warning light or that servicing was neglected is incorrect. The vehicle had not yet reached the dealership’s recommended date or mileage for servicing, and we have photographic proof to confirm this. Furthermore, there were no red warning lights present at any time , again we have photographic proof to confirm this so any suggestion to the contrary is hearsay. Additionally, the dealership’s inference regarding my driving habits as careless is also hearsay as they have no knowledge of my driving history. With relation to - "When a contribution request is denied without proof just make up a story and blame the garage." - Your comment is completely incorrect. Nothing in my review was fabricated. I have substantial, documented evidence to support every part of my review — including 2 independent mechanics having inspected the car and confirming the faults, timelines, photographs, and all correspondence. My review reflects verifiable facts, not stories, and I stand fully over everything I stated.
