Presented in Wildberry Metallic with Slate Grey Leather Interior, Matching Wildberry Piping & Secondary Hide, and finished with Burr Walnut Trim This Mulliner Park Ward Edition has just 76k Miles on & over the span of almost 30 years has just 4 previous owners, one of which was the original UK Dealer for 5 months before the vehicle was brought to the republic and given a Dublin Registration on the 11th of July 1996 and the car has remained in Dublin since. After a service & health check in Charles Hurst Bentley last year we took the vehicle to Richard Cassidy, a renowned Bentley & Rolls Royce specialist who completed the following ; • Alternator removed, reconditioned, and refitted with new bracket and bolts • Battery replaced and connections cleaned • Full engine service – oil and filter changed • Lights and levels checked • Gearbox and differential checked • Injectors and fuel system cleaned out • Airbag light fault diagnosed and repaired • Wiring fault traced and repaired (broken wire at back of fuse board) • Steering issue resolved – oil top shock bearings serviced • Front and rear brake pads and discs replaced • Rear wheel bearings replaced • Rear calipers replaced • Front calipers reconditioned • Brake pipes and fluid replaced • Handbrake parts replaced • Boot stays/shocks replaced After Richard completed the work & NCT’d the car - we picked it up and it’s now driving exactly how a Continental R should - tight and refined. The next step was to get the bodywork done as parts of the roof and bonnet had lacquer peel as well as the doors. Getting a recommendation was tough and in the end was chose a specialist outside ROI who is highly regarded by many and regularly repaints old & new Ferraris and similar. The Alloy wheels also were professionally refurnished and given new Continental R red centre caps Although not a full nut & bolt restoration, to see this Continental R now glowing, and ready for a new home after a year of preparation is extremely rewarding and we believe this will be an excellent addition to someone’s personal collection.
