SUPER HYBRID DM-i – THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS The SEAL 6 DM-i Touring Boost combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine, electric motor and BYD Blade Battery into a smooth automatic plug-in hybrid drivetrain. The Boost produces 135kW of total system power, with the electric motor delivering up to 145kW and 300Nm of torque. It uses front-wheel drive and can accelerate from 0–100km/h in around 8.5 seconds. Its 10.08kWh Blade Battery provides up to 50km of WLTP combined electric driving range, while BYD quotes a total combined range of up to 1,350km with a full battery and fuel tank. That makes it particularly well suited to Irish driving. Plug in at home and use electric power for your daily commute, school runs and local driving, while retaining the petrol engine for longer journeys around Ireland.
