Jaguar XF R-Sport 2.0D 180 (2016) – Project / Repair / Spares or Repair I bought this Jaguar XF in 2019 and it has been a genuinely great car to own. From purchase until last year, it gave trouble-free motoring — smooth, powerful, comfortable, and exactly what you’d expect from a well-specced R-Sport XF. Ownership & Maintenance I have never neglected the car. In fact, over the last 12–18 months I invested significant money in major maintenance, including: Timing chain work Cooling system components Air-conditioning repairs General servicing and preventative work All invoices are available and can be shown. This was not a “run it into the ground” car — it was maintained with the intention of keeping it long-term. Current Situation (Being Fully Transparent) Unfortunately, the car has now developed an engine issue and is not currently running. After discussions with mechanics, I’ve decided not to continue pouring money into it, purely because I’m ready to upgrade rather than gamble further.
