2008 Chevy Captiva 2.0L Diesel Automatic AWD SUV. This is a solid SUV with a lot of potential, but it has engine issues (reflected in price). We’ve spent €4,000+ on repairs (new suspension, brakes, tires etc.), but a second mechanic identified metal filings in the oil filter, indicating internal engine wear. The car still runs but has loud engine noise. Ideal for someone with an engine ready to swap in or willing to pay for one. Body and interior in decent shape, alloy wheels, and it passed its last NCT in 2021 (off-road since). Failed latest NCT, details attached (mainly engine).
