2004 Daihatsu Copen - Westmeath plate - (JB-DET) 659cc 4 Cylinder, Twin-scroll Turbo (Standard) - Revs to 8500RPM (Timing chain) - 5spd manual - FWD Two options: €1200 - Full car €800 to €1000 in parts - Can discuss (Large parts - Entire front subframe, etc.) - Will only be trailered away - No NCT - Open to meet all days except Sunday, between 9am & 7pm ~64,000 Miles / 102,400km €199 Tax/Yr Insurance is cheap for a 2 seater roadster - About the same as a E60 520d, or A4 B6 1.9TDI Pros: - Everything works - This includes the electric roof, engine, turbo, gearbox, brakes, ABS etc. - Front / rear lights work - Starts every time - No warnings - On dash - Heated seats - Factory Twin X-brace - Stable in corners - Drove like on rails - even on 165/50R15s (4x100) - Digital Workshop Manual available Cons: -Upwards of 80+hrs worth of cutting & welding - Rear is very rotten - Rear right shock mount only has 1 of the 3 faces remaining on the frame rail - Started the drivers side front wheel arch & both sills, but still needs work - Passenger side wheel arch needs doing - Drivers side floor needs doing - Rear left above wheel arch - swiss cheese - Both rear wheel arches are rough - Some components could do with a refresh - Rear shocks - can compress with hands (suspension/bushings refresh) - Hold air but needs new tyres - Bolts are quite crusty, likely to change hardware / retap - Fabricated a L701 Cuore Radiator to work instead of original (Turbo T-ed in) History: - UK car until 2011 - Last NCT in 2019, assume it didn't make it through its 2020 one, as I bought it in 2022 - a woman had owned it, then her father sold it to me - Not driven since then If not enough interest, will keep and repair.
