Unfortunately not a good experience. Car advertised as excellent condition serviced etc. Made an offer under the advertised price which was accepted. Viewed the car which at first inspection had some issues. Was told that is why he accepted the lower price as there was some issues and that was only selling on for someone else. To be fair a discount was agreed to cover 1/2 the cost of the work needed to put car in condition that was advertised. After taking the car home and getting checked at a garage there was a list of issues including broken springs leaking exhaust , missing bolts in brake system and leaked oil in area surrounding filter area. Another €600 worth of work to a car which was advertised as excellent condition. All in all the car has cost way over the advertised price just to be made road safe and capable of passing an NCT. I made contact and was told he was only selling the car for someone else and they were happy with the discount given. Well what I thought was going to be a good value car has ended up costing a ridiculous amount of money. Ouch
