A rare opportunity to have1990 Mercedes Benz G Class, professionally converted with the legendary C36 AMG 3.6 litre AMG engine. This unique G Wagon combines the timeless ruggedness of the early W463 chassis with the performance AMG’s early engineering era. The engine conversion was carried out in July 2014 by well known specialist Mark Ashton in Somerset (UK) , a name widely respected within the G Wagon community. This G wagon is based on a G36 AMG The result of the conversion is a vehicle that captures the spirit of the ultra-rare G36 AMG, a pre merger AMG model of which only around 120 examples were factory produced between 1993 and 1997, many of which were sold in Japan. Engine & Performance: At the heart of this G Class is the legendary AMG inline six 3.6L AMG from the C36 AMG with a dual ECU system. Custom double sided twin exhaust system producing a beautiful AMG tone. Exterior: The vehicle has been tastefully upgraded while retaining the classic G-Class presence. Finished in metallic black paintwork painted in 2015. Rear axle conversion to discs and pads (£4,500 upgrade).Upgraded front discs and pads.Genuine Mercedes G63 AMG 22-inch wheels purchased from Mercedes in 2022.
