Honda Civic EM1 Coupe — OEM+ Build

A rare opportunity to acquire a numbers-matching Honda Civic EM1 Coupe with its original B16A2 engine. This car has been cherished for many years and is now reluctantly offered for sale as I am relocating abroad in June. If it doesn't find the right home, it will be kept in storage — so serious enquiries only please. Engine & Drivetrain The B16A2 has undergone a full professional rebuild using top-quality components throughout, including an OEM Honda head gasket, machine-honed bores and a fully refreshed head. It pulls cleanly through the rev range and drives exceptionally well. The gearbox has been fully refreshed with new main bearings, synchros and a replacement 5th gear. New driveshafts have been fitted along with a custom exhaust system running from manifold to back box, supplied with a new catalytic converter. Brakes & Handling Braking has been significantly upgraded with EK9 Type R calipers, hubs and wheels, complemented by a DC2 Integra Type R brake master cylinder and proportioning valve — a tried and tested combination well regarded in the Honda community. Suspension has been fully polybushed and fitted with new coilovers throughout. Four new tyres fitted to complete. Interior & Steering The cabin has been tastefully updated with EK4 black plastics, black carpet, EK4 seats and door cards — clean, purposeful and period-correct. An EK9 Type R steering wheel and EK9 ECU round off a cohesive OEM+ build with no unnecessary modifications. Condition The pictures speak for themselves. The only blemish to note is a minor crack in the rear bumper, picked up during garage storage. This is a well-sorted, honest example of one of Honda's most iconic models.
