Restored DC5 Type R with a fresh test, running a K24 Frank setup. Very fast k24 engine. Engine spec: • K24A block • K20A head • Bourne BHP cams • New timing chain & oil pump chain • New guides and tensioner • Full new gasket kit • Baffled sump • Skunk2 inlet • Skunk2 fuel rail • Bosch 550cc injectors • Tegiwa induction kit • Alloy radiator • Power steering relocation kit • Tegiwa manifold • Full 3” exhaust to Skunk2 back box • Cat on V-bands • Mapped to 280hp on Doctronic ECU Gearbox: • New synchros • New diff seals • 5.1 final drive Chassis / suspension: • Fully polybushed • Brand new BC coilovers • All new ball joints • New rear camber arms Car drives extremely well and needs nothing mechanically. Sit in and drive. Bad points: Ill be completely upfront about the car. These are genuinely the only bad points I can take from it: • Crack in windscreen — currently in the middle of getting this replaced • Bonnet latch works but is fiddly and could do with being replaced • Left-side door trim is slightly faded • Minor bolster wear on driver’s Recaro • Rocker cover could do with a refurb Other than the above, the car is not far off being mint. I had the car advertised a few weeks ago but took it down as I wanted to tidy up a few bits before putting it back up for sale. I’ve also put the OEM wheels back on the car. The genuine Rays CE28s are still available separately, but the car is being advertised and sold on the OEM wheels. Genuine buyers only.
