Absolutely amazing experience with Zucar Cork! I bought a 2019 Nissan Leaf from them and the whole process was outstanding from start to finish. Everything was smooth and professional. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about making sure I was happy with the car. What really sets Zucar Cork apart is the after sales service. Hands down the best I have experienced. They go above and beyond, which gives real peace of mind after the purchase. I couldn’t recommend Zucar Cork highly enough. If you are thinking about buying a car, this is the place to go.

So far, this has been one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had. A special mention to the service and technical team, with Callum as the main point of contact – outstanding support throughout. Unfortunately, the car I purchased developed some issues, but everything was fully covered under warranty. The way I was treated as a customer and how clearly everything was explained to me really stood out. On top of that, they collected the car from my home and returned it once the work was done, which saved me a huge amount of time and hassle. I also want to personally thank Callum again for going above and beyond – he organised everything seamlessly and even delivered my baby seat back to me after working hours. That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. We are still in the process of resolving the remaining issues, but based on my experience so far, I could not be happier with the service.

purchased a car from Zucar and later discovered it was sold to me without a valid NCT, which was not disclosed at the time of sale. When I raised this issue, their response was to say it was my fault for not checking the NCT before buying the car. This is a very poor excuse from a professional car dealer. As a consumer, I reasonably expect a dealership to disclose critical legal and safety information, especially something as fundamental as whether a car is road-legal. Selling a car without a valid NCT and then shifting the responsibility onto the customer shows a lack of accountability and customer care. A licensed dealer should be transparent and stand over what they sell, not blame the buyer after the fact. Based on this experience, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious and double-check everything themselves if dealing with this company. REPLY TO RESPONCE Thank you for your response. I want to be clear that I am not happy with the situation or with the explanation provided. The issue is not simply that the vehicle was sold without a current NCT, but that this was not clearly explained or highlighted at the point of sale. Selling a car without a valid NCT has serious implications for a buyer, including the legality of driving the vehicle, insurance concerns, additional costs, and the immediate burden of arranging and passing an NCT. These are not minor details — they are fundamental to a customer’s decision to purchase a vehicle. A car dealership should never assume that a customer understands these implications unless they are explicitly and clearly explained in advance. This information should be unmistakable, upfront, and transparent, not something a customer discovers after the sale has been completed. While you state that this is part of your standard policy and that the cost was deducted from the retail price, that does not remove your responsibility to clearly communicate this to the customer. A buyer should not be left in a position where they only become fully aware of the situation after taking ownership of the vehicle. At this stage, the issue cannot be resolved, which is why I am outlining my dissatisfaction. My concern is that a lack of clear communication in situations like this places customers at a disadvantage and undermines trust in the sales process. This experience has highlighted why selling a vehicle without a valid NCT — without clear, explicit explanation — is unacceptable.
