Škoda Octavia (Elegance) 1.9 TDI

(2008) Škoda Octavia (Elegance) 1.9 TDI (BXE) 105 BHP I bought this vehicle on the 13th June 2025 for €1,700.00 as I needed something cheap and quickly. I had it fully serviced around two weeks after that (late June). I'm selling due to a more modern Škoda now becoming available at a decent price. The inside of the car was fairly grubby so I vacuumed the entire interior to include the boot well before using a vax spot cleaner on all carpets and upholstery. Apart from the obvious tears in the driver's carpet and seat bolster, it's still fairly clean. I also cleaned all plastics, trims and windows with appropriate products and replaced the gearstick gaiter which was ripped. This was done late June/early July. I haven't had time to buff the exterior but it's been through an automatic car wash. Overall, this vehicle has been straight enough to drive. The tyres, discs and pads are all in fair condition. The clutch went during the first week of September and I had it replaced on the 9th September 2025 which seems to be now fine. Apart from the foregoing, the engine, etc. seems to be running well. I recently drove it on a 600km round trip which it did on just shy of half a tank of diesel. It's taxed until the end of November 2025 and the NCT expires at the end of January 2026. If I was purchasing this car, I would replace the wiper blades, replace the boot struts, buy fresh mats (which would cover the driver's tear), spray the alloys and replace the badges. However, all of this would be more cosmetic or for convenience. In summary, this is a 'get in and drive' car with decent interior and exterior for its age. It's by no means perfect but you can't go wrong at this price point for an efficient diesel. It's priced to sell but I am open to negotiation.
