Land Cruiser EX LIMITED LJ78

Recent work includes: • Brand new gearbox fitted at 227,000km Cassidy Gearbox Dublin • Timing belt and water pump replaced at 221,000km • Full service completed 1,000km ago (all oils, filters and greasing) • Extensive mechanical and bodywork improvements during my ownership • Over €12,000 invested in maintenance and repairs in the last two years The Jeep will also come with over €2,000 worth of spare parts that I had intended fitting, including: • New upgraded clutch fan from Quikazz 4x4 Australia • New OEM Toyota front brake disc and pad • Full set of Tough Dog 2 Degree front correction castor bushes • New wiper motor OEM Toyota • Radiator hoses and various additional parts all from Toyota • Front OEM Toyota mud guards The body presents very well for its age, the interior is spotless clean, and it drives exactly as a Land Cruiser should. It turns heads everywhere it goes and is becoming increasingly difficult to find in this condition. In the interest of being completely honest, there are two issues I am aware of: • Small oil leak from the turbo, likely a seal, and subsequently blows a bit of black smoke from the exhaust when left idling for a while. • Slight oil leak from one of the front hubs, again most likely a seal. I have a front hub rebuild kit from Roughtrax 4x4. • Back right window switch doesn’t work. Neither issue has stopped me using or enjoying the Jeep, but they have been reflected in the asking price. This is not a project and not a neglected Cruiser. The expensive maintenance items have already been completed, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for a well-sorted Land Cruiser with documented history.
