Land Rover Defender 2000

2000 Defender Td5 County Station Wagon. This is an original Irish Dublin registered Defender sold through Stuarts Garages, and it passed the NCT today. When I bought it in 2022 it had been in storage for a few years and had been painted black badly, so I had it stripped and repainted in it's original factory Chawton White. I had all the glass and trims and mouldings replaced from front to back. I then replaced all trims, handles, etc. that needed replacing, but mostly kept everything original such as carpets, headlining and so on so as not to erase the vehicles history. I did replace all five interior door cards and the trims and cushions on the rear seats. I have not tried to modernise it in any way, as the value in Defenders lies in their originality. The engine got a full overhall too and has been serviced regularly since. If you know Land Rovers you will know that the Td5 engine is a Fantastic engine, very reliable and has plenty of poke. This has been my daily driver and the engine runs lovely. I have a Td5 Discovery transfer box in it, so it runs a little nicer on motorways. It passed all it's NCT's up until August 2025 when it failed because of the rear chassis, but this was replaced in January by a 4x4 specialist and although it's galvanised, was also rust treated and painted with a black paint. The rear floor crossmember, which is only on passenger vehicles, was also replaced. Finally, it also has a genuine Land Rover G4 Challenge roof rack which spent most of it's life in India. I have all the receipts and photos of it's transformation and if you're after a really good Td5 Defender, you won't be disappointed with this one. I have a very busy life, so only genuine enquiries, please. I currently have it on classic insurance and plan on driving it for the summer, so I am not under pressure to sell it. Thanks.
