SWB. 2.5 litre 300tdi, 1996. 329,000 miles. Please don't be put off by milage as everything has been rebuilt/refurbished/reconditioned as required so it's in better order than many lower mileage vehicles. Please read on... Sensible offer will be considered. Taxed til June 2026. CVRT Dec 2025. Good condition for age. Running perfectly. Clean and tidy, absolutely everything in perfect working order. Has been my everyday vehicle, intended as a long term keeper so all work and maintenance has been done with that intention. Sadly no longer required. Regularly serviced as per Land Rover specs., including all the detailed stuff that often gets left out. Recent complete engine rebuild including reconditioned injectors and injector pump, new shells, rings, etc. Recently reconditioned gearbox and transfer box (Discovery). Rebuilt front and rear diffs. Galvanised chassis, Waxoyled inside and out at rebuild. Reconditioned galvanised bulkhead, Waxoyled in all cavities. New genuine Land Rover front doors at time of rebuild. Galvanised battery box, tub trims, and front door hinges. Wiring loom in good order. Four good BF Goodrich tyres, less than half worn. Brand new spare. Genuine Land Rover Sun roof in PWO, no leaks. Fitted in factory at time of manufacture. (Brilliant if you have a dog, lets the heat out, plus quiet ventilation when driving.) Genuine Land Rover "NATO spec" front sound proofing mat. Original roof insulation. Comfortable Discovery seats, easy to change back to Defender if required. New polybushes throughout. New mid-section exhaust. Radio/CD player. Removable dog guard/interior bulkhead with doorway to front. Rear window demister (useful on those winter mornings). No hard use, absolutely no savage off roading.
