The oil pump broke and flooded the engine. 2 mechanics have checked the car and said that the pump needs to be changed and the engine needs to be flushed because it got flooded with oil when the pump broke. From the parts, it only needs the oil pump but the engine needs to be taken out as well and that takes a few days (i was told) and it would be a bit of an expensive fix (was told between 2000-3000€) The car does start but it's loud and sounds like a 2 stroke motorcycle engine. It can't be driven away,it needs to be towed. I am not able to afford to have the car fixed at the moment so I am selling it. If there's a car mechanic or someone who can fix this in a few days, you would have a great, near mint condition car. It would be a shame to scrap the car,it passed NCT with no problems whatsoever and apart from the current issue,the car is mechanically and electronically perfect. Sports,leather,heated seats,no cracks on leather. You can see on photos that the car is in great condition and it was always kept clean. I bought the car about 4 years ago from a dealership in Dublin. Everything that needed to be fixed along the way fas fixed(put in about 2500€ in 4 years on regular service and maintenance). It has new brakes(discs and pads),new tyres, new oil and air filter,new vacuum pump (payed 500€ and replaced a month before the car broke down) Service was done every year (drove around 6000 km yearly).
