Mercedes SLK-Fresh NCT-Convertible - PRICE REDUCED

Only selling as I need a bigger car. I’ve owned this SLK for over 10 years and it’s been well minded throughout. Wouldn’t be parting with it otherwise. I had a brand new rear subframe fitted by Mercedes main dealer in 2023. This adds real peace of mind and should be factored in if you’re comparing prices of other SLKs for sale. (The 2004–2011 SLKs are all known for rear subframe corrosion as they age. This issue has already been resolved with this car. It’s a design flaw with the original fitted subframe in the SLKs, not just this car. Corrosion usually starts on the inside of the subframe and works its way out, it's hard to notice until it’s picked up at NCT or becomes visible from the outside. Most cars will eventually need subframe replacement - a costly job. The big advantage here is that this car already has a brand new dealer-fitted subframe, so that expense is completely off the table for the next owner) - Fresh NCT until Aug 2026 - 4 new tyres fitted in 2024 - Timing chain engine (no timing belt worries) - Driven daily, never left sitting, everything working as it should - Two-tone cream/black leather interior - 17" Mercedes alloys - Tiptronic automatic gearbox with Sport & Comfort modes - Cruise control - Air conditioning - Steering wheel controls - Electric windows & mirrors - Turns into a convertible at the push of a button - Regularly serviced, oil change etc and minded – even using Redex every 6 months to keep the injectors and fuel system in top condition. Running costs: - Motor tax on this 2004 model is only €636 per year (or €179 for 3 months). Worth noting: from mid-2008 onwards, SLKs were taxed on CO₂ emissions instead of engine size, which pushed the annual tax for the same 1.8 engine to €1,000+ per year. So this earlier model is actually cheaper to keep on the road than many newer SLKs. - Insurance is cheap too — classic quote was about €300, and my last normal/non classic policy was €510 Viewings available in Kildare or Carlow.
