Mini Cooper 2008 1.6L

Major Price Reduced - The car has a knocking noise from engine, which I have been told is related to the cam shaft/belt. It has an NCT until end August 2025 and tax to end of July 2025. I have reduced the price to reflect the fact that it needs this work to be completed and maybe of interest to a mechanic or someone that can repair the car themselves. Two owners from new. I am the second owner I brought the car over from the UK with me in 2015 and have owned this car for nearly 16 years, all services as recommended have always been completed. The car has a Petrol BMW engine N12. It has been exceptionally reliable for me, until this noise. It drives really smoothly on the road, this knocking noise is when car is started, idling or slowing down at junctions. The mileage of 122013 miles equates to 196,360km. Taxed to end July 2025. NCT to 26 Aug 2025. Full service history. Two sets of keys. Double sun roof with sun screen blinds on inside. Two new tyres put on in August 2024, all tyres in good condition. The Mini is in good condition throughout, slight scratches on the rear bumper and in places around the car, slight wear and tear inside, but nothing much considering age of vehicle.
