Nissan Leaf

I've had the Leaf 2 years and absolutely loved it. It's the 24kwh version in the top spec Tekna style. This means the car has heated leather seats (front and back) and a heated leather steering wheel. Front and rear electric windows and electric folding wing mirrors, air conditioning, Bluetooth phone connection. The car also has a built in sat nav and a Bose sound system that is great. I replaced the 12v battery about 6 months ago. It has all the bells and whistles really, but I need a larger battery going forward. It has both of the necessary charging cables (granny and public connector). During my ownership I have never charged it above 80% so it still retains 11/12 bars in the battery - that is good for about 80km but a full charge will get you circa 110km. The car has the original books and the service history, but in reality the car barely needs servicing which is probably the best part about it. With an EV electricity rate doing about 60-80km a week you can expect to pay about €15 a month in fuel. I still have the 2 keys. If your considering trying an EV I couldn't recommend this highly enough. It's a brilliant car.
