Peugeot 3008 2011 automatic read add

Car in good condition. Clutch just replaced recept to prove. This is positive as its the part that gives the most bother in this model in automatic. nct was done in January and it's tested until until may.4 good hankook tyres .engine runs perfectly. However when I got the clutch replaced the mechanic must have clipped the starter wire and it keeps blowing the starter fuse. I replaced the starter thinking this was the problem but a friend told me it was the earth wire of the starter thats causing the problem and cheep fix for a mechanic its also taxed.
