Selling my car as it failed the NCT (29 March 2026), and now I have bought a newer car. Failed NCT on brake test. I owned the car for a year. I bought it from a family who owned it for 10 years by different family members. It was serviced regularly at their local mechanic. I don't have the mechanics invoice paperwork with the car, but I was told the following work was carried out when I bought the car; April 2024 at 206,000km Timing belt and water pump head gasket and oil seal replaced Service Feb 2025 New Alternator March 2025 Service oil, filter change, brakes. I had no issues when I owned the car. The only thing I noticed was an occasional erratic idle, and an intermittent illuminated engine management light (there are currently no lights illuminated on the dash). Priced to sell/sold as seen.
