PEUGEOT 5008 AUTOMATIC ALLURE MODEL

I just had my Van serviced, plus some repairs. It’s not the first time I’ve used Ballinagh Auto. Over the the past 5 years my wife and I have had multiple jobs done - well! Sergio and his team provided a thorough and friendly service every time. What really stands out for me is how clean and tidy they return my serviced or repaired vehicles and always a fair price. I highly recommend them. Thanks very much, I wasn’t expecting the cab to be valeted and van washed too, absolutely brilliant :)

RECOMMENDED. Fuel pumps are kept very clean, and there's a 24-hour DIY payment system too. The shop is immaculate, and has a good selection of most things and the service is great. The car repairs out the back are brilliant, I've been going there for years, they know their stuff, and are reliable and honest, and very hard working. I get my car cleaned there and the lads do a great job in no time at all.

I called ahead to check if I could bring my car in, as I was having trouble starting it. The person on the phone told me to come in. I drove 20 km to the garage, but when I arrived the parking lot was full. Since I couldn’t get into the garage, I parked temporarily in front of some parked cars, walked up to the mechanic, and politely explained the situation. Instead of any assistance, the very first thing he said was, “Is this your private property to park your car like this?” I explained that there was no parking available and that if anyone needed to move, I was right there. I also thought maybe he would want me to drive the car into the garage. Then, when I mentioned I was having battery issues, he immediately dismissed me, saying, “Who said it’s a battery issue? What if it’s the alternator?”—and quoted me almost €480 for an alternator replacement without even opening the bonnet or checking the car. After less than 10 minutes, he told me to come back tomorrow. I left feeling disrespected and shocked by the rudeness and lack of professionalism. I ended up going to Tractamotors instead, where the customer service was the complete opposite—polite, helpful, and professional. I saw similar negative reviews which I could totally relate with. If the mechanic or owner wants to contact me, I have a few things to say directly.
