Polestar 2 2023 - Dual Motor - Leather

Took delivery of a Polestar 4, and I would like to thank the team for having me at the space. In particular, I want to express my gratitude for Scott, as throughout the ordering and delivery process he was making sure that things were in order and everything was being done on their side to accomodate for my needs. Despite delays in shipping outside their control, it was well worth the wait and I was even compensated for my time with extras on the house. The car itself is surreal in person, the quality is superb, and even though I went for the single motor for range it's plenty quick for public roads. I'd very much encourage anyone to visit the space, and the quality of the cars quickly will speak for themselves when you spend some time with them - no need to take it from me!

Important things first: I love my Polestar 2. It’s a Model Year 25 with the Pilot Pack (which includes adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera – must-haves for me in my selection of the Polestar) and the Plus Pack (which is more about comfort). It is a long-range single motor model, and in the 8,000 km that I have put on it in three months, the single motor has been more than adequate for any time I needed a bit of extra acceleration. It looks absolutely great – the styling is a superb combination of Volvo attitude, sports car and family saloon. I’m consistently getting between 14 and 15 kWh/100 km. However, by far the most important selling point for me is how nice it is to drive. It is an absolute pleasure to drive in just about all circumstances – even making commuting something to look forward to rather than a chore. Yes, as the reviews say – the ride is quite firm – certainly for someone like me who was used to a Citroen C5 hydropneumatic suspension. But that is more than made up for with all of the other characteristics. The infotainment system is great – I would have very few quibbles: but one is that I would like to know what radio station is being tuned, and I would like a couple of programmable buttons beside the home button for quick access to my favourite apps. Perhaps these will come in a future software upgrade. Many thanks to Andrew and Stephen in Polestar in Sandyford for their professionalism and for taking great care of me – but they didn’t sell me the car: it sold itself on the first test drive. I think they are very lucky to have such a superb range of cars in their fleet.
