This is a genuinely reluctant sale due to a hip injury, which means I’ve had to move to a taller car that’s easier for me to get in and out of. The Octavia has been a fantastic car, offering a great combination of performance, practicality and fuel economy. It returns approximately 45–48 MPG around town/mixed driving and around 55–60 MPG on longer journeys, depending on driving conditions.
