I have been the only owner and driver since them. Oil has been changed meticulously on it every 5k miles or so (hence the mileage). Mileage on the car is predominantly motorway use. The good: Drives really well Engine pulls strong Interior in very good condition for age and mileage Comfortable and quiet cruiser with massive load space. Aug 2024: New starter motor Jan 2025: 252k miles, new rad, thermostat, injector seals, coolant, fuel filter. The bad: EGR valve is sticking – car is juddery and lumpy when cold. Once hot it frees up and runs perfect but does throw a check engine light which disappears again after a few days. Rocker Cover has hairline crack so oil weeping. Some patches of rust starting to appear but no short term concerns. Small door dings and scratches on body as to be expected at 16 years old and 422,000kms Summary: If you want a workhorse for 12 months then this will do the job. If you want to keep longer I would replace EGR valve and rocker cover and you should be good to go for a few more years. If looking for perfection this is not the car for you. If you want and honest workhorse for 12 months then it might be the one.
