This 2001 example is number 924 of the limited 1000 produced featuring some desirable optional upgrades and has remained in completely original specification. The Sonic Blue Mica bodywork is rust and dent free and the signature O.Z Prodrive wheels and unique P1 rear spoiler give this Impreza a massively aggressive stance. The P1 original P1 badges are still present and those in the know will spot that the brakes peeping through the gold spokes are not typical STI fare, either. This car boasts the optional ‘WR Pack’ which consists of 18” wheels instead of 17”, and larger AP Racing brakes for better stopping power given the P1 boasts an impressive 2076bhp from its 2.0 flat-four turbocharged engine. Furthermore, DCCD was sacrificed on the P1 in favour of ABS brakes, so you’ll never be in doubt of braking performance. As the P1 was built and sold only in the UK, Prodrive had the foresight to develop their own suspension set up, too, to best suit UK roads – just one of the many reasons the P1 is so revered. The interior was also given the P1 treatment with unique Prodrive trimmed seats and mats, and a numbered plaque also adorns the centre console. Critically, this P1 has been well maintained with a documented service history file covering its 86k miles with its last service being just over 1k miles ago. We have also carried out a T Belt and water pump change along with an underside refresh among other things. This is a sensibly priced example of one of Subaru’s greatest ever hits that still impresses today. I just got my Ferrari back from Simon and the lads today after a serious engine out service. They got straight into the job when the took in the car and had it back in a very reasonable timeframe. The lads kept me up to date throughout with videos, photos and general updates. You wouldn't get this level of transparency from a Main Dealer. There were unforeseen issues along the way but they just got on with it and were able to order awkward parts where possible and had parts made where they were not available or too expensive to buy. Very few mechanic operations left of this type in Ireland with this wealth of knowledge and experience and they are not afraid to work on the higher end old cars. I will definitely be back to them for any future maintenence. Now all I need is a dry day to enjoy this V8 on the backroads again!!

I’ve bought already 3 cars from Simon and Simon - such a stunning selection of cars for nearly any budget, and more importantly amazing after sale customer care. All 3 cars were in great condition with low mileage, ready to go to any car show. The latest one - Mercedes w201 has only 78k km (less than 50k miles!) in its 34 years, what a find by Simon and team! I had a small mechanical issue with one of the cars after the purchase - we arranged a repair and I was immediately provided with a replacement car (a wonderful experience on its own - a powerful beast with 250 bhp!). Was receiving updates on the repair and timing along the way in text messages, which was really nice. Always feeling welcomed and respected even buying comparatively cheaper cars. I could really feel their love to cars, knowledge and professionalism. I will for sure be back again and trade in for the next car!
