Toyota Aqua DAA-NHP10

Bought a Nissan import today from PTH and I have to say it was an all-around good experience. They were pleasant to deal with, knowledgeable, professional and most of all the car lived up to expectations on the 115km drive home.

You could not find a more decent and trustworthy car salesman! I came to PTH because I was told my car needed a gearbox replaced and that my car was worth nothing. Des showed me an excellent Yaris in top condition with full history and transparency. I found his service highly professional. I was impressed with him, but what follows proves in no uncertain terms that Des is very honest and full of integrity. Despite the fact that I was very likely going to buy his car and sell him on my 'worthless' one, Des pointed out that I may have been given misleading advice about my own car. He was sharp to pick up that my gearbox appeared to be fine and that maybe I didn't need to replace it at all. I got a second opinion and sure enough, I probably will get another few years out of my old car. Des puts people first over profit, which I think is rare in this line of business. Most would have said nothing and made a lot of money out of my ignorance. I couldn't recommend Des and his team more. A true gent. Thanks a million for your help! I'll be back in a few years! :)

I purchased a Japanese import vehicle from this garage two years ago. The garage had the vehicle NCT passed before I purchased it. Unfortunately, my recent NCT test failed because none of the four tires had visible ‘E-marks’ (the mandatory EU tire approval marking). This is a specific requirement for NCT certification in Ireland. While the garage provided a functioning vehicle, I would advise future buyers of Japanese imports to specifically check for the E-mark on all tires before purchase.
