I’m getting on in years and I have dealt with many garages in my time. Without a doubt, Hugh Boggan’s in Gorey is the best of them. I dealt with Brendan Doyle in Sales but I got a really good feel there, from talking to other customers, from the interaction between staff and customers and between staff themselves. It was clear that their philosophy is for the long term and not a quick sale and is that a satisfied customers is good for business. Sounds so obvious doesn’t it and yet so many garages stop caring once the cheque hits their bank account. Brendan was honest and helpful through the whole process and I could feel that philosophy shining through. He gave me a fair price both for the car I bought and for the one I traded in. The price was very competitive and in my budget and the service I received from test driving the car on two occasions to the coffee and the ease of transaction in buying the car was second to none with David. He patiently answered all my questions and put no pressure on me to buy, allowing me the freedom to make up my own mind on buying a car from Boggans. He knew the previous owner as she bought and serviced her car with them and this gave me a lot of piece of mind.
